Is What We Have Today What God Had In Mind?

Webster defines erosion: "to diminish by degrees… to eat away in slow destruction". Erosion can happen to the Church. We can measure the erosion of the Church by comparing it to the standard of the New Testament. God had a plan for the Church from the very beginning. We must make sure that the church to which we belong is the same as what God had in mind when he designed "His Church". God's plan for His Church: 1.) It will honor Him. 2.) It will be a spiritual haven. 3.) It will grow and be a mighty influence for good. The book of Acts is a picture of progress in fulfilling God's plan. Following God's plan will stop spiritual erosion.
