We Ought To Obey God Rather Than Men

We must understand that God and men are two different standards. Many times they stand in opposition to one another. There are serious consequences when we choose to obey one over the other. Obeying God will mean there are some men we must obey. It can be easy to yield to the pressure on men. Some situations where we need to apply this: Civil law forbids teaching/conversion. Civil law forbids spanking. When parents/children advise wrong. Friends pressure us to disobey parents or God. Employer requires you to do wrong.
