In 2 Corinthians 2:12 Paul warns us of the dangers of measuring ourselves with something which is faulty. Some examples of faulty measuring sticks we might be tempted to use today include:1.) Ourselves 2.) Others 3.) Standing Practice 4.) Peace 5.) Sentimentalism.  God has left us The Scriptures as the blueprint and measuring stick to live by.
