What Do You Say?

Virtue can be defined as: moral excellence and righteousness; goodness; the quality of doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong. It is important for us to apply these standards of virtue to what we say. What we say is important to God. We should avoid language which includes: foul words, coarse jesting, euphemisms, vain uses of God's name, false teaching, deceit and evil speaking. Our speech should consist of: wholesome language, sound teaching, words of encouragement, words of honesty, words of integrity and praise to God.
