Congregational Singing - part 2

   It is necessary for us to understand the place and purpose of congregational singing. It's importance is taught in the Bible as an integral part of our worship to God. Music has influence and messages are conveyed in a special way. God uses singing to teach and edify. It unites the congregation as we blend our voices in praise. It inspires us to greater zeal and sets the mood for worship. Singing will be a part of our worship in Heaven. We should participate in the song service with enthusiasm, yet be careful we do not take it to extremes.
